About Our Centre

Our Charter:


We operate for the benefit of the Scout and Guide community in the district of Barnt Green. Our objectives are to:

  1. to manage the 1st Barnt Green Scout and Guide Centre, off Blackwell Road, Barnt Green.

  2. to ensure the Centre is made available for the use by Barnt Green Scout and Guide Groups

  3. to  promote the Centre for use as a building for the benefit of the community  in the Barnt Green Area

  4. to maintain the Centre in accordance with the instructions laid out by the Barnt Green Scout and Guide Field Trust

About Our Centre:


The new Centre was completed in 2011 and offers fantastic facilities for the local Scouts and Guides. It is also available to rent by other people and organisations in the local community


We are located on Blackwell Road in Barnt Green B45 8BT

Facilities


The Centre has a large main hall with a sprung wooden floor which makes it ideal for a variety of different groups to use. There is also a smaller meeting room and access to a large field on the site. Facilities include:


  • Accessible toilets
  • Large main hall (17m x 9m)
  • Meeting room (5.7m x 5.1m)
  • Entrance
  • Kitchen with server
  • Wheelchair access

The centre is used weekday evenings by our Scout and Guide groups, but is available daytime weekdays and some weekends.
